The Manchester United boss was pictured with the retired coach for the first time.
The pressure may be on Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford but the Dutchman looked calm and at ease in the company of Manchester United greats Denis Law and Sir Alex Ferguson recently.
Indeed, the above photo was actually the first time Van Gaal has been spotted with Ferguson since becoming United boss. But what might the two have been discussing?
The 63-year-old has registered just one competitive win in his new job - a 4-0 victory against a desperately poor Queens Park Rangers side - and threw away a 3-1 lead to lose 5-3 at Leicester City last weekend.
Intriguingly, Van Gaal's start at Man United is worse than that of predecessor David Moyes, who was sacked before his first season at Old Trafford could be completed.

Perhaps Fergie has faith in the Dutchman's ability to succeed long term, however. Although he did seem to have the same feeling about Moyes...
United host Sam Allardyce's West Ham United side tomorrow and Van Gaal's men need to deliver a result to lift them into the top half of the Premier League table.
Maybe Ferguson was handing out a few pointers to the current Manchester United manager? Or maybe he was giving him a cheeky reminder that the clock is ticking - considering the fact that Van Gaal has spent millions of pounds in the transfer market?
At least they were both all smiles, anyway.
