Two Premier League sides who may have been favoured for the drop both banked impressive results last weekend.
Crystal Palace and Leicester City may be duel to a draw on Saturday afternoon at Selhurst Park as they are both coming off the back of mighty victories against Everton and Manchester United, respectively.
That is, according to Paul Merson, who has been left impressed by the manner in which both teams have begun their Premier League campaigns this season.
"I’m really tempted to go for an away win here because I’ve been so impressed with Leicester so far," wrote Merson in his weekly preview column for Sky Sports.
"The win over Manchester United was the icing on the cake and is a really massive result for that team.
"Likewise, Crystal Palace had a huge result against Everton, who I thought were a home banker last Sunday.
"Off the back of those results I don’t think there will be much between them in this game and I’ll go for a draw."
Interestingly, Leicester have a shot conversion rate of 43% inside the penalty area - so if Crystal Palace want to stifle City's most effective form of attack, they'll thwart their efforts to get into the box.
