October's free Xbox Games with Gold have been announced

Next month players can get their hands on a new Xbox One title, along with two Xbox 360 titles.

October's free Games with Gold for Xbox 360 and Xbox One have been revealed a little eariler than expected, but that's alright we like a little notice. Next month you'll be able to pick up Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Darksiders II, and Chariot completely free.

Xbox 360 owners can pick up Battlefield: Bad Company 2 on 1st October until 16th October, when Darksiders II will be available for free.

Next month Xbox One owners will be getting a brand new title called Chariot. It's an ID@Xbox game from Canadian develoeprs Frima, and will debut for free on the console. Chariot is a platformer about a princess and her fiancé that must haul the body of her dead father to it's final burial place.

Don't forget you still have until the 1st October to pick up September's free games - Halo Reach and Super Time Force.
