West Ham United’s players have been photographed being put through their paces ahead of the weekend match against Manchester United.
The Hammers travel to Old Trafford in high spirits after defeating Liverpool 3-1 at Upton Park last weekend.
Sam Allardyce’s side have taken four points from their last two matches, including a 2-2 draw with Hull City, and he will be hoping to cause an upset against Louis van Gaal’s expensively assembled side.
United are fresh off the back of a humiliating 5-3 defeat to Leicester City so it will be interesting to see how they react against West Ham. But the London club’s players are clearly preparing in the right way, with Diafra Sakho and James Collins among those photographed on Thursday morning.
The in-form Sakho was practising his shooting and will want to add to his tally at Old Trafford, while Collins and his defensive colleagues will be hoping to keep out arguably the best front-line in English football in the form of Radamel Falcao, Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney.
