Benjamin Stambouli is looking forward to his first North London derby.
Tottenham summer signing Benjamin Stambouli is full of belief Tottenham can beat Arsenal this weekend.
Arsenal won all three contests between the sides last season, two in the league and one in the FA Cup, with Spurs failing to score a goal.
Now with a new manager and several new faces, with many departed over the summer, Spurs have a chance to turn a page when they take on the Gunners this coming weekend.
One of those hoping to be involved in Benjamin Stambouli, who made his home debut for the club in midweek against Nottingham Forest.
The Frenchman feels the manner of the win was vital, and can inspire Spurs to defeat their rivals.
He told Tottenham's website: "It was a good win for us on Wednesday because we have a big game to play and we have to show that we can beat Arsenal.
“It will be difficult, but we have the qualities we need. We showed on Wednesday night that we have a good mentality and that we will never give up.
"Even when we were losing 1-0 we scored three goals so it shows what we can do. We have to concentrate right to the end of the game."
Arsenal played a day earlier in midweek, but they lost at home to Southampton and Spurs will have a little more confidence going into the game.
Mauricio Pochettino has plenty of tough selection decisions to make, but by selecting players like Stambouli who hold no fear and are not haunted by last season's defeats, he can ensure his side are full of confidence that the end result will not be a repeat of last season.
