Leeds United's Mirco Antenucci says that he is very happy at the club since arriving from Ternana this summer.
Mirco Antenucci says that he playing at Elland Road has been a fantastic experience.
The striker has wasted no time settling in at the Yorkshire club, and already has two goals to his name since arriving from Ternana and he has revealed that he is enjoying life at Leeds.
The Italian front-man has been a big hit with the fans, becoming a vital component in the side up-front, and Antenucci has revealed that moving to Leeds has been an enjoyable experience.
“I’m very happy,” the striker said to the club's official site. “When I play at Elland Road it is fantastic because the fans are very good.
“The victories have been very important for the team and we hope that will continue.
“It is very nice in Leeds and I’m enjoying the city.”
Antenucci has played a big part in the revival that the club have experienced since the departure of David Hockaday.
The former head-coach left after a dismal start to the season four games ago and since Leeds have been in great form.
Under the guidance of caretaker boss Neil Redfearn, the club have picked up 10 points out of the last 12 available and they have rapidly climbed the table.
The Whites are now in the top half and they will be looking to continue their upwards trajectory this weekend then they face Brentford in Championship action.
Antenucci is likely to be part of the starters for the game and he will be looking to impress newly appointed manager Darko Milanic.
Milanic was announced as the permanent boss this week and he will be aiming to keep the forward momentum Leeds have generated from their last few results going on Saturday.
