Tottenham Hotspur hero Ryan Mason produced the performance of his career so far, one which he feels was overdue.
The 23-year-old came on with the side trailing with half an hour to go, and scored a stunning equaliser from 25-yards out.
After the game, Mason told SkySports that he felt the performance was a long time coming.
"I've been waiting for that for a very long time. It was nice to come on and get the goal and change the way the game is going.
"I've always been confident in my ability. I've had to wait a lot longer than a lot of other players but I can't moan.
"I've come on tonight and I thought I made a difference."
The attacking midfielder has played on loan for five clubs, and will be hoping this is the beginning of something special at Spurs, and not a false dawn.
