Chelsea have made a blistering start to the new season, winning their first four games of the Premier League season before drawing against 10-man Manchester City on Sunday.
Tonight though, Jose Mourinho's attention turns to the Capital One Cup tie against Bolton. The Portuguese manager has rotated his squad with fringe players such as Mohamed Salah, Nathan Ake, John Obi Mikel and Loic Remy all coming in to the side.
Another player handed a start is French centre back Kurt Zouma. The 19-year-old agreed to join the Blues in January having impressed with St. Etienne in Ligue 1, but he spend the second half of the season on loan at his former club before arriving at Stamford Bridge this summer.
Zouma, a French Under-21 international, is tipped to have a big future in West London, but will spend most of his time behind the likes of John Terry, Gary Cahill and Branislav Ivanovic in the pecking order at centre back.
He's taken his chance in the first team tonight though, as after just 25 minutes he grabbed his first ever goal for the club, marking a dream debut to give Chelsea the lead over the Championship side.
Zouma celebrated alongside team mates Mikel and Oscar, and will have made a lasting impression on Mourinho - even if he doesn't figure to be a huge part of the immediate plans this season.
