Brad Guzan believes that Chelsea's Thibaut Courtois is in the top five goalkeepers in the world.
The Aston Villa stopper spoke of his admiration for the Blues' custodian today, as the Claret and Blue prepare to take on the Premier League's early pace-setters.
Guzan will be hoping to see his teammates score past the Belgian international on Saturday, but he is in no doubt about the challenge that it will be to do that.
"He's someone who I believe is one of the top five goalkeepers in the world," Guzan said to Sky Sports.
"Thibaut's resume is outstanding. His accolades for the past few seasons at Atletico speak for itself, with Belgium too.
"He's only 22 so these things are unbelievable. He's a top, top keeper and someone Chelsea sees their future with."
Courtois returned to Chelsea this season after a three loan spell at Atletico Madrid and he has immediately became the club's number one choice.
The imposing keeper has established himself as one of the most highly rated players in the world during his time in La Liga, but his task of breaking into the team at Stamford Bridge has not been easy.
Petr Cech has monopolised the goalkeeping spot at the club for some time now, but Courtois' form was too much for Jose Mourinho to ignore and he installed him as first-choice this season.
So far Courtois has been able to live up to expectations.
Although Chelsea's attacking stars have stolen the headlines, Courtois' performances in goal have also been important and he will be hoping to keep this impressive form up as his side look to claim the Premier League title.
