Liverpool fans react to Suso's performance against Middlesbrough on twitter - 'deserves more game time'

Suso scored in extra time before playing his role in a dramatic penalty shootout.

Liverpool midfielder Suso came off the bench in extra time to score in the Reds' 2-2 draw in the Capital One Cup third round at against Middlesbrough at Anfield last night.

It looked as if he had scored the winner only for Patrick Bamford to equalise from the penalty spot for the visitors to take the game into a marathon penalty shootout.

The Spaniard - who made his first appearance following a loan spell at La Liga side Almeria - also stepped up twice to take a spot kick as the Reds won 14-13 on penalties in a game that won't be forgotten about easily.

As well as pleasing performances from youngsters Jordan Rossiter and Jordan Williams, there was plenty of reaction to Suso's cameo, and many fans on twitter would like to see the Spaniard used on more occasions.

He played several games during Brendan Rodgers' first season in charge, but it remains to be seen if he gets many more opportunities this season after being heavily linked with a move to Serie A giants AC Milan.
