At the weekend, Lorelei Taron posted the following photo on Instagram along with the message: ‘I love this city ... I love this club’.
Taron is from Argentina and has lived in Madrid and Monaco with Falcao, and it seems that she has taken a shine to Manchester.
It is not always easy for players’ families to settle in a new country especially if they move around a lot – Falcao played for Monaco for just one year – but it seems that Taron is having no such problem in settling in Manchester.
However, things are not going well on the pitch for Falcao, who has yet to find the target for United in his two appearances for the Manchester outfit.
The 28-year-old came off the bench against Queens Park Rangers at Old Trafford and started against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.
Falcao created a goal and hit the crossbar against the Foxes, but he still failed to prevent Louis van Gaal’s side from suffering a shock 5-3 defeat.
The striker’s wife, though, is not too deeply concerned, posting the following message on Instagram after the match which reads: ‘Losing a battle is not significant. The war is not lost..’
