MK Dons progressed into the fourth round of the League Cup after edging Bradford by a 2-0 score at stadium:mk earlier this evening, Tuesday.
The provider of the game's goals, Benik Afobe, has been in exceptional form for the Dons all season, ever since his temporary transfer from parent club Arsenal.
Afobe needed just five minutes to get himself on the score-sheet as he latched on to Darren Potter's assist to rifle the ball into the net from inside the area.
And five minutes from the final whistle, the 21-year-old doubled the Dons lead after linking up with coveted young talent Bamidele Alli.
Afobe's brace sees his tally for the season to date rise to nine goals, with one assist also returned in 11 appearances in all competitions (League One and League Cup).
It means he has an astonishing attacking efficiency of a goal scored or created every 65 minutes he is on the field.
