I will still keep on reading about him and study his methods... Cause he knows his trade pic.twitter.com/B1hAIQKddE— Jan Aage Fjortoft (@JanAageFjortoft) September 21, 2014
European football expert Jan Aage Fjortoft has suggested Louis van Gaal will guide Manchester United out of their inconsistency so far this season.
The Dutchman has overseen a difficult start to the Premier League campaign, which has seen United secure only one win from the league games they’ve played so far.
Fjortoft Tweeted a picture of Louis van Gaal’s book suggesting the coach is worth reading about because he ‘knows his trade’.
In defence of van Gaal, he said when he first took the job at United that there would be inconsistency for three months while he got the side playing effectively and how he wanted.
The attack has already fired following some late additions in the summer transfer window but the defence definitely still needs work if this group of players is to move forward and achieve a top four finish by the end of the campaign.
It’s now over to van Gaal to try and ensure United put two wins together in a row because the side has plenty of time to work on various issues before the supposed more difficult Premier League clashes start to pile up.
United’s current Premier League record reads one win, two draws and two defeats from five games with nine goals scored and eight conceded.
