'Stick together - disappointed' - Lukaku reacts to Everton defeat against Palace

Everton striker Romelu Lukaku says great things will happen for the club this season.

Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has called for all concerned at the club to stick together following defeat at home against Crystal Palace.

The Toffees have the worst defensive record in the Premier League this season but the Belgian forward has suggested that if the club can stay united, Everton can achieve big things this season.

“No matter what. We have to stick together and fight every single game. Disappointed with the loss definitely but we have to keep pushing because a lot of great stuff will happen this season for us,” he posted on Instagram.

Everton face a mid-week trip to Swansea City tomorrow night where manager Roberto Martinez is likely to make several changes to his first team before a huge clash at the weekend.

If Everton can win at Liverpool this Saturday, it will be just their second Premier League victory of the campaign which has to change if the side have aspirations of getting into the top four.

Onwards and upwards as Everton go looking for greater consistency.
