Southampton’s £10million summer signing Sadio Mane has finally posed in the shirt of his new club, as he prepares to begin his career at St Mary’s.
The Senegal forward was signed in the final throes of the summer transfer window, but he has had to wait for a work permit that has now been granted.
There is considerable excitement surrounding Mane’s move to the Saints given that he scored 45 goals and provided 32 assists in 87 appearances for his former club Red Bull Salzburg.
Ronald Koeman’s side have started the season extremely well and are currently second in the Premier League table, just three points behind leaders Chelsea.
Koeman appears to have brought defensive stability to the club with two clean-sheets in their last two matches, and with Mane now available, they could soon be adding more goals at the other end of the field.
