Manchester City-owned striker John Guidetti reacts to Celtic’s 1-1 home draw with Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday.

John Guidetti has expressed his disappointment at Celtic’s failure to win against Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday.

Ronny Deila’s side were held to a 1-1 draw at Celtic Park in Glasgow and actually had to come from behind to pick up a point.

John Sutton gave visiting Motherwell a shock lead after just 19 minutes and could have made it 2-0 just minutes later.

Celtic eventually came back into the game and won a point, but they needed a 68th-minute penalty from Kris Commons to do so.

Guidetti, who joined the Scottish giants from Premier League champions Manchester City on a season-long loan deal earlier this month, started the game against Mothwell.

The 22-year-old Sweden international striker was substituted in the 76th minute, and after the match he took to social networking site Twitter to concede disappointment at the final result.

It was the Bhoys’ second draw of the 2014-15 Scottish Premiership campaign and left them fourth in the league standings with 11 points from six matches.

The Scottish giants are currently five points off the pace, but they have played a few game than leaders Dundee United.
