A round up of news stories this morning about Chelsea.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho says there’s no hard feeling from the club towards Frank Lampard.
The Blues legend scored for Manchester City against his former side yesterday but refused to celebrate the goal.
“Frank Lampard is a Manchester City player. I don't believe in stories of passion and heart, maybe I am too pragmatic - He used to play for Chelsea and Luis Suarez used to play for Liverpool. Now Suarez plays for Barcelona. For me there is no drama,” said Mourinho.
Mourinho was furious with his team for not being able to kill off City after going 1-0 up in the game.
Mourinho has suggested that Chelsea should have been able to see off City, who were numerically disadvantaged.
“When you don't kill matches you are in danger when you play against very good teams - They had an emotional reaction to try and not lose the game,” said the boss.
Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini hasn’t held back having a stab at Chelsea.
“We played against a small team trying to defend, trying to keep 10 players in front of their goal and a team that wanted to win from the beginning,” he said.
