A tough result yesterday, but we have to move on and carry on working hard. We need to trust in this team pic.twitter.com/I7JMntIM9i— Ander Herrera (@AnderHerrera) September 22, 2014
Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has sent fans a message on Twitter a day after the club's defeat to Leicester City.
United had been 3-1 up away to the Foxes, with Herrera netting the third, before a stunning collapse, going onto lose 5-3.
The defeat has re-opened all the previous questions regarding United's porous defence, and lack of steel in the midfield.
Players are still clearly adjusting to Louis van Gaal's system, and the manager to those he selects. He and United's new signing are finding out the hard way about English football, and Herrera's message displays a positive mindset.
United can't dismiss their collapse as a freak result, that would lead to similar happening again, but they must work to identify and rectify the faults.
In doing that they must take the many positives, including the stunning form of Angel di Maria, and indeed Herrera's impressive display, as they seek to get back on track at home to West Ham next weekend.
