This weekend saw a new addition to the Twitter community. Manchester United legend Bryan Robson has joined the social media site and already has over 25k followers on the site after just one day.
The former England captain played 461 games for United over a 12 year spell scoring 99 goals and becoming an icon for many a child growing up in that generation. That was shown by the likes of Phil and Gary Neville all quickly following and Tweeting their excitement at his arrival on the social networking site.
But the 57-year-old dedicated most of his day to the Manchester United game today.
What a game!— Bryan Robson (@bryanrobson) September 21, 2014
He was clearly excited about Tweeting along to his first United fixture - but it of course did not end up as he or United fans across the world would have liked.
Leicester City fought back from 3-1 down to win 5-3 at the King Power Stadium and the former West Brom boss took to Twitter after the game to vent the feeling of most pundits and experts. This United team needs strengthening at the back...
A real defence of weakness that has to be addressed! No problem with the attacking but need a good look at our defence!— Bryan Robson (@bryanrobson) September 21, 2014
Now while this has been said by many over the past few weeks surely now 'Captain Marvel' has said it is the case United will take swift action.
