The Leeds goalkeeper was not tested once as Huddersfield Town failed to register a single shot on target.
Nothing screams dominance like a 3-0 scoreline in your favour.
Unless, of course, your goalkeeper didn't have to make a save.
And that's the exact statistic greeting Leeds United this morning, after Marco Silvestri was left untroubled during his side's 3-0 win over Huddersfield.
It must have been a long 90 minutes for the Italian, in which he essentially had the best spectator's seat in the house. The phrase 'walk in the park' seems rather apt here.
Under caretaker boss Neil Redfearn, Leeds now have three wins in four... not too bad at all.
|Position||Match||Saves||Crosses Caught||Accurate Goal Kicks||Punches||Mins Played|
|Marco Silvestri||GK||Leeds vs Huddersfield||0||2||4||0||90|
As Opta stats show, Silvestri caught two crosses and took four accurate goal kicks - but the 23-year-old made no punches and no saves.
That's simply because he didn't have to, such was Leeds' dominance. Goals from Rudy Austin, Mirco Antenucci and Souleymane Doukara sealed the win.
Interestingly, though, it was also a case of the visitors being rather wasteful.
|Match||Shots||Shots on Target|
|Huddersfield||Leeds vs Huddersfield||14||0|
|Leeds||Leeds vs Huddersfield||8||5|
A fascinating stat is that Huddersfield took more shots than Leeds - almost double the amount, in fact. But they were not allowed the space to make a single one of their 14 hit the target (although their own finishing may also be to blame).
What the Elland Road side would give for every game to be so easy!
