How different things look after three games without a win for Tottenham Hotspur.

Two games into their Premier League season, Spurs fans were wondering if Mauricio Pochettino could finally buck the trend of managerial disappointments, after a 1-0 victory at West Ham and a 4-0 drubbing of Queens Park Rangers.

Liverpool took the wind out of their sails, though, as they left White Hart Lane with a 3-0 win the following week. And, since then, the north London side have drawn at Sunderland and now lost at home to West Brom.

For the Baggies, Sunday was a day to remember, as James Morrison's winner secured their first Premier League triumph of the season. Alan Irvine's side are now up to 16th, jumping out of the relegation zone, and will hope they can build on the momentum gained from yesterday's morale-boosting three pointer.

Questions will be asked of hosts Tottenham, however, and their players were pictured doing the odd bit of soul-searching at full-time. Indeed, newly appointed captain Younes Kaboul had his arms wide open in shrugging format while speaking to the referee at the final whistle, while the likes of Hugo Lloris, Paulinho and more were visibly frustrated during the defeat.

Spurs are now ninth in the top flight and travel to Arsenal in their next Premier League clash. Before then, they host Nottingham Forest in the Capital One Cup. For West Brom, meanwhile, Hull City await in the cup before they host Burnley next weekend.
