Leicester City stunned Manchester United on Sunday when they overturned a two-goal deficit at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League.
Louis van Gaal’s side were expected to win the clash and had the likes of Radamel Falcao, Angel di Maria, Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie in the starting line-up.
Indeed, United went 2-0 up after 16 minutes and were 3-1 ahead in the 57th minute. At that point, it appeared that the English giants would add a few more goals and register their second successive victory in the league.
However, Leicester had other ideas and scored no fewer than four goals in the space of 21 minutes to stage a sensational comeback and win the contest 5-3, as the visitors ended up with 10 men.
Leonardo Ulloa scored two goals in the match – one of them from the penalty spot – while summer signing Esteban Cambiasso was also on the target.
Leicester’s win over one of the biggest clubs in the world will go down in history, and their fans were understandably elated. Following the stunning result, they took to social networking site Twitter to revel in their success, and below are the best tweets (we have also included reactions of fans of other clubs to see what they have made of the result).
