Leeds United caretaker-manager Neil Redfearn has been singing the praises of summer signing Mirco Antenucci.
The Italian forward has scored in two games in succession for the Whites, and on both occasions the West Yorkshire club have won.
The 30-year-old former Torino man, who moved to Leeds from Ternana in August, was on target in their 3-1 victory over Bournemouth at the Goldsands Stadium on Tuesday.
Redfearn hailed Antenucci as the best player for Leeds against the Cherries and was once again full of praise for the forward following his side’s comfortable 3-0 win against Huddersfield Town at Elland Road on Saturday.
‘Antenucci has been outstanding in our last two games’, Sky Sports quotes him as saying. ‘He has such energy and awareness and his finishing was great. He did really well to keep the ball down when it came to him off the bar from Giuseppe Bellusci's shot’.
Antenucci was on target for Leeds on the stroke of half time and played for the entire 90 minutes. The former Catania star’s movement in and around the penalty box was encouraging as well.

Antenucci did not start the season in great form, but he appears to have stepped up his game and found his rhythm.
