Newcastle United are still without a win in the 2014-15 Premier League campaign after their 2-2 draw with Hull City at home on Saturday.
The Magpies headed into the clash at St. James’ Park on the back of a 4-0 hammering at the hands of Southampton away from home last weekend.
Manager Alan Pardew has come under pressure from the fans, who made their opinion of the 53-year-old Englishman clear during the match (more of that in the photos below).
It was goalless at half time between Newcastle and Hull, but the hosts conceded the opening goal of the match in the early minutes of the second period.
An acrobatic Nikica Jelavic volley saw the Tigers take the lead on 48 minutes, and 20 minutes later Mohamed Diame scored a stunner.
Then came the Newcastle fightback. Papiss Cisse came on just after the second Hull goal had been scored, and halved the deficit moments later when he turned in Cheick Tiote's pass with an angled drive.
The 29-year-old Senegal international striker fired home the equaliser with three minutes of normal time remaining from inside the Hull penalty box.
