Ori and the Blind Forest will probably make you cry

Ori and the Blind Forest Prologue 31

Microsoft's exclusive platformer has a new 10 minute prologue video which will bring out your emotional side.

Ori and the Blind Forest is an Xbox and PC exclusive coming from Moon Studios and Microsoft Studios before the end of 2014, and the devs have released a full 10 minutes of footage showing the prologue.

The game is about Ori, a guardian spirit - the cute little guy - who is adopted by a bear-like creature that raises Ori as its own. When Ori's adopted mother is taken from him (yes, I know, try not to cry) he sets off to explore the forest alone.

The game looks gorgeous and it's hard not to feel sad for poor Ori. Watch the footage below to see some superb animation, hear emotive music, and then inevitably tear up.
