Derby are unbeaten so far in September and that will give them plenty of confidence heading into a difficult game against Cardiff City.
Derby have a very strong record so far this season with three wins, three draws and just the one defeat. Their attack has been impressive with 13 goals scored while the defence has been solid, conceding just eight times.
Derby know that a win this afternoon would more than likely take them into the play-off places.
Cardiff City have been inconsistent since the start of the season and currently linger down in the bottom half of the table.
They were unlucky not to take anything away from the game against Middlesbrough last week but should be determined to try and get back on track this afternoon as the search for a new manager goes on.
Cardiff could climb into the top half of the table with a win.
