Jack Wilshere is okay ahead of the match while Calum Chambers and Mathieu Flamini both return to the squad.
"Chambers and Flamini return - Wilshere is okay."
"I like his attitude (Chambers) and his intelligence. I like that he came into the team and just played his game. I'm impressed
Wenger also gave an update on the state of Mathieu Debuchy's injury, with the right-back injured against Manchester City last weekend.
"We'll know about Debuchy tonight after his examination whether he'll need surgery."
Wenger once again leapt to the defence of Mesut Ozil, who has been heavily criticised following the 2-0 defeat at Borussia Dortmund earlier this week.
The boss has suggested that criticism of Ozil's form is unjustified as he's still recovering from the World Cup.
"The criticism is unfair because it's post-World Cup. It takes a few months for them to get back to their best."
"Fans need to be patient. You want your best players in every game but you have to be united and go through hard periods."
"Why should Ozil be a scapegoat? We've lost one game since April 1. We had very difficult games against teams like Besiktas."
Wenger has also assured Arsenal fans that the team will be going all out this weekend to respond to that defeat in Germany.
"It's a significant weekend. Not decisive but an important one. We want to respond after a disappointing performance."
