Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney has got a new pair of boots for Sunday’s Premier League clash against Leicester City.
The 28-year-old forward posted the photo of the boots on Instagram along with the message: ‘New boots for Sunday's game from @nikefootball #hypervenom’.
Rooney will hope that he continues his good form with his new boots. The England international had a great game for the Red Devils against Queens Park Rangers last weekend when he scored once.
The former Everton star was a key player in United’s 4-0 hammering of QPR at Old Trafford in what was new manager Louis van Gaal’s first competitive win in charge of the Manchester outfit.
United will head into Sunday’s match at the King Power Stadium high on confidence and will be optimistic of picking up all three points.
Rooney is very likely to start the encounter against Leicester, and so could Radamel Falcao. The Colombia international striker came off the bench against QPR in the second half and will be looking to getting his first goal for United.
