Head-to-head: Pelle vs Bony: Who will make the difference on Saturday?

Swansea host Southampton tomorrow in what should be an entertaining affair, but which striker will make the difference this weekend?

Two in-form sides meet on Saturday afternoon as Swansea entertain Southampton at the Liberty Stadium, and both sides will be hoping to continue their fine starts to the season.

The Swans won their first three games, but a defeat at Chelsea last time out will leave them keen to bounce back straight away against strong opposition in Southampton.

Ronald Koeman's new-look Saints side have impressed so far, and they will be hoping to win their third consecutive game this weekend, having scored seven goals in their past two.

Swansea have netted eight goals in four games so far, but star striker Wilfried Bony has yet to find the net and he will be looking to get off the mark for the season against the Saints.

The powerful Ivorian has been involved in much of the Swans attacking play but he will want to start scoring the goals, rather than creating them.

Southampton's summer signing Graziano Pelle has adapted well to life in the Premier League, and he has found the net three times, with all of those goals coming in the past two games.

The 29-year-old will spearhead an exciting Saints attack once again at Swansea, and both frontmen have the ability to win the game for their side's.

Pelle has registered more shots per game than Bony and he has been rewarded with three goals so far, while also being more heavily involved in each game.

The Italian has completed more passes per game and won more than twice the amount of aerial duels than the Swansea forward so far, while also seeing more of the ball.

Bony has picked up an assist, but he will need to improve his game if he is to make the difference on Saturday.

The 25-year-old netted 16 times following his move to Swansea from the Eredivisie last season, and Pelle looks on track to score a similar amount following his switch from the Netherlands earlier this summer.

Saturday's meeting should be an entertaining game between two sides that play attractive football, and both striker's will be looking to make the difference.
