Square Enix announce their FFXIII games are heading to PC starting in October 2014.

Originally released on consoles back in 2010, Square Enix's Final Fantasy XIII is heading to PC on 9th October 2014, with the sequels coming before spring 2015. The sequels, Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, were released in 2012 and 2014 respectively.

The first in the series is currently listed on Steam and appears to be a straight port of the game, with no improvements I can see. It's priced at £10.99 with a 10% pre-order discount bringing it to £9.89.

Additional Notes: A game controller using Xinput is recommended for this game. (If using a DirectInput based controller, please use the driver side key configuration to adjust settings as required )

With the recommendation of a gamepad for the game we can't imagine they've done much with the keyboard and mouse support. However, if you're looking for a gamepad, Microsoft revealed their new Xbox One PC pad the other day, if that takes your fancy.
