When Manchester United snapped up young Chilean forward Angelo Henriquez they were believed to be getting their hands on one of the best young talents in South America. So far however he has not been given the opportunity to shine at Old Trafford.
Since his arrival in August 2012 he has spent the majority of his time out on loan. He spent six months with Wigan Athletic before spending last term at La Liga side Real Zaragoza.
This summer however he was sent out on a rather intriguing looking spell to Croatia with dinamo Zagreb.
He has already endeared himself to the Dinamo fans by scoring the winning goal in the Eternal Derby against Hajduk Split.
Last night he scored his first ever goal in European competition.
Dinamo thrashed Romanian outfit Astra Giurgiu 5-1 yesterday, and while Algerian forward El Arbi Hilel Soudani stole the show with a first-half hat-trick, Henriquez also bagged a goal - netting a close range half-volley in the 70th minute.
Henriquez is still young and he may still have a chance of making it at Manchester United. If he continues to bag goals in the Europa League he will certainly do himself no harm.
