There was a lack of excitement during Tottenham's Europa League draw with Partizan, but the performance of debutant Benjamin Stambouli was a real positive.
While established players like Andros Townsend and Aaron Lennon disappointed, Stambouli's enthusiasm showed, and was one of the best performing Spurs players on the night.
The Frenchman won six tackles in 76 minutes, the same number as Nabil Bentaleb did in 90, and the highest of any Tottenham player on the night.
Making one interception, Stambouli completed 92 per cent of his passes, the top completion rate of any Spurs player.
It was Stambouli's first start for the club, coming on as a late substitute against Sunderland at the weekend, and the display puts him in real contention for a start in Sunday's upcoming home fixture against West Brom.
While a dull game, the 0-0 draw was a valuable away point in context for Mauricio Pochettino's side, especially with several first team stars missing or beginning the game on the bench.
The result sets Spurs up for progression through the group, providing they get a win against Turkish side Besiktas at home in the next match in the competition.
Here's a look at how Spurs fans reacted to Stambouli's display on Twitter...

Very impressed by Stambouli thus far. Strength, skill, and eye for a pass everything needed from Poch's "Schneiderlin" role. #THFC— Kevin DeVries (@Kevrov) September 18, 2014
