Patrice Evra left Manchester United in the summer for Juventus, but he seems to have no regrets over his decision.
The France international moved to the Red Devils from Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco in January 2006 and established himself as one of the best left-backs in the world.
During his time at Old Trafford, Evra won the Premier League five times, the League Cup thrice and the Champions League once.
The 33-year-old defender was set to remain at United for the 2014-15 season when he signed a one-year contraction extension in May, but in July he left for Italian champions Juventus.
The £27 million signing of England international left-back Luke Shaw from Southampton was supposedly the reason behind the change of heart for Evra, who cost Juventus a reported transfer fee of £1.2 million.
Evra has been speaking about his decision to join the Serie A giants and has underlined just how similar his new club is to United.
#Evra: "Juve and Man Utd are similiar in the sense that no effort is spared in giving you the best possible conditions in which to work."— JuventusFC (@juventusfcen) September 18, 2014
Evra is not the only former United player on the books of Juventus at the moment. Carlos Tevez and Paul Pogba joined the Turin giants in 2013 and 2012 respectively.
Evra’s move to Juventus seems to be a win-win situation for all parties involved. United do not miss him, and it seems that he does not miss the Manchester outfit that much either.
