Putting to rest hopes the game would arrive on 2014

Gematsu report  that Hideo Kojima has revealed the release date for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be in 2015 

The launch window for Phantom Pain, which is due to come to PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC was announced at an MGSV event at the Tokyo Game Show.

It has also been revealed that a new AI buddy system will be coming in the game, where you’ll be able to get Quiet and others to join in with your infiltration missions. Supporting characters can be ordered to perform actions such as providing covering fire or even going ahead to perform infiltrations themselves, giving some extra strategies to play around with.
