The Baggies striker says the side must be more ruthless after a slow start to the season.
West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino has said the side needs to start punishing their opponents ahead of what he anticipates to be a difficult trip to White Hart Lane this weekend to take on Tottenham.
The Baggies are winless from their opening four games of the campaign having picked up two points from their opening four games.
The side has only scored two goals in the opening stages of the campaign,
Berahino told the club's website: “We know what we have to do going into the next game."
"Spurs is not an easy place to go but we know what we have to do, we have to work on the training ground to try and improve and learn from our mistakes.
“We are working hard to become a good team going forward and also a team that scores lots of goals.
“Every game we are trying to improve.
“That’s what we do at the training ground we make sure that we stay together and we are not letting anything get between us."
Last season West Brom managed to leave White Hart Lane with a point after a 1-1 draw but they have struggled so far under new boss Alan Irvine.
Tottenham have made a fairly solid start to their season having picked up seven points from their opening four games and will be heavy favourites going into their game with the Baggies.
