Brad Guzan warns Arsenal ahead of Gunners trip to Aston Villa

Aston Villa host Arsenal at Villa Park on Saturday and Villains goalkeeper believes the Gunners may be in for a tough day at their office.

Goalkeeper Brad Guzan, who has returned a hat-trick of clean-sheets from four Premier League appearances to date, has issued a warning to Arsenal, who travel to Villa Park for a Saturday match.

Guzan believes the match-going fans will be buoyed by the great form shown by the Villains this season and that the atmosphere generated could offset the arduous task in taking on Arsenal, who will be "looking to get three points".

The 30-year-old, though, is confident it is Villa who can get a positive result. He told the club's official website: "It will be a great occasion. It's always fantastic playing at Villa Park but I think the atmosphere should be even better than normal because the fans have enjoyed seeing our start to the season.

"They will be buzzing, no question. They will be up for it - 100% - as will the players and the staff. We know it's going to be a difficult game. We know Arsenal will be looking to get three points.

"So for us it's another difficult challenge but with the way we have played over the last few weeks, there's no reason why we can't go into the game with confidence and look to get a result."

Villa have one of the most stringent defences in all of the Premier League and currently brag fewer concessions made than traditional top four clubs like Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool and also Arsenal.

Guzan continued: "The Villa Park faithful will give us that extra boost and will definitely lift us higher. It's a brilliant place to play your football.

"We have experienced some special moments at Villa Park. Here's to many more."
