Arsenal youngster Damian Martinez tweets message of ‘friendship’ and ‘working together’

Arsenal goalkeeper Damian Martinez seems to be getting along fine with summer signing David Ospina.

Damian Martinez has been on the books of Arsenal since 2010, but he has yet to make a Premier League appearance for the Gunners. And he is unlikely to do anytime soon.

With Wojciech Szczesny the first-choice goalkeeper and summer signing David Ospina his back-up, the 22-year-old will be confined largely to the role of a squad player.

It is not something that any footballer wants at any stage of his career, but the Argentine youngster seems to have realised that working hard and for the team is the way forward.

On Wednesday, Martinez took to social networking site Twitter to post the following picture and message:

It has been a tough start to the 2014-15 season for Arsenal, who have not looked entirely convincing in their Premier League matches and were comprehensively defeated 2-0 by Borussia Dortmund in Germany in the Champions League on Tuesday.

However, the only way that the Arsenal players can pull themselves out of the current slump is by sticking together and working as a team - something that Martinez is willing to do.
