8th gen consoles get release date pushed back to November, 7th gen still on track

2K has announced that the release date of WWE 2K15 on PS4 and Xbox One has been pushed back to November, giving gamers on 8th gen a slightly longer wait  than initially expected.

“Visual Concepts and Yuke’s are committed to delivering the most authentic and action-packed WWE experience to date, including release for the very first time on next-generation consoles,”said Greg Thomas, President of Visual Concepts. “The additional development time enables our talented teams to ensure the WWE 2K15 next-gen experience fully meets our expectations.”

The new gen versions will now be available from 18th November in North America and 21st November in Europe. The release dates for PS3 and Xbox 360 remain unchanged from 28th October in North America and 31st October in European territories.

“We thank you for your continued patience and hope you’ll join us on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One when WWE 2K15 launches this November,” said 2K.
