Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino seems to be taking the Europa League seriously.
The Spurs players travelled to Belgrade for their Group C opener against Partizan Belgrade earlier today and started training soon after they landed.
The match is tomorrow night, and Tottenham will be keen on picking up all three points.
Drawn in the same group as Besiktas and Asteras Tripolis, it may not be very easy for Tottenham, who could find Partizan and the Turkish giants tricky opponents especially away from home.
Moreover, the North London will be looking to return to winning ways. Tottenham were held to a 2-2 draw at Sunderland in the Premier League on Saturday, and prior to that match they had gone down 3-0 to Liverpool at White Hart Lane.
However, Tottenham do have the quality and depth of squad to bounce back in style tomorrow. They also have an added incentive to win the Europa League this term, as the victors of the competition will stand a chance of playing in the Champions League next season.
It will be a long journey for Tottenham to achieve that feat, the first step of which will be winning against Partizan tomorrow.
