We know that DeAndre Yedlin is fast ... but this fast?
In August Tottenham Hotspur agreed a move to sign DeAndre Yedlin from MLS side Seattle Sounders. The 21-year-old had starred at the World Cup for his nation in Brazil. He has seven caps for his national team and Spurs had to beat off the likes of AS Roma, Genoa and Lyon in their hunt for the talented player.
In the end they got their man, spending a fee believed to be in the region of £2.5 million for his services.
Of course Mauricio Pochettino has not yet been able to call on the services of Yedlin, as he was immediately loaned back to Seattle for the remainder of the MLS season.
Yesterday Yedlin helped Seattle to silverware against Philadelphia Union.
They took part in the US Open Cup in Chester, Pennsylvania last night - and came out of the meeting winners, 3-1 after extra time.
Goals from Chad Barrett, Clint Dempsey and Obafemi Martins did the job after former Rangers midfielder Maurice Edu had given Phillie the lead before half time.
But it was a moment of pure pace from Yedlin that will have Tottenham fans excited. The club already have a super fast right-back in Kyle Walker - but judging on how easily Yedlin mopped up the ground behind Cristian Maidana, it seems Spurs might have found someone even faster.
