A round up of news stories this morning about Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur have been handed an injury boost as striker Roberto Soldado has returned to training.

The Spaniard Tweeted that he was back with the team yesterday as he looks to win back his first team place.

Mauricio Pochettino could nurse him back into the side to play Partizan in the Europa League or West Brom in the Premier League.

New Spurs signing Benjamin Stambouli says he feels good about his start to life at the club.

He joined from Montpellier on the final day of the summer transfer window and has already made his Premier League debut for Spurs.

“We are all disappointed but Sunderland showed real spirit to come back - feel good, I feel positive and I will now work hard again to be ready to play,” he told the Tottenham website.

Tottenham Hotspur transfer target Morgan Schneiderlin has revealed that he never meant to disrespect Southampton.

The Frenchman was constantly linked with moves to Spurs during the summer transfer window, with the club seeing three bids turned down.

“I never wanted to disrespect anyone at the club. Sometimes in life, you need to make choices, and everyone was worried when we lost so many players,” he said.
