Mirco Antenucci has been praised by Leeds caretaker manager Neil Redfearn.
Leeds United boss Neil Redfearn has praised Mirco Antenucci, describing him as the club's best player against Bournemouth.
Antenucci scored the third in the 3-1 win, netting clinically from a one-on-one chance to send the visiting fans into raptures.
Redfearn was asked about Antenucci after the game, and went as far as claiming he was the best Leeds player on the night.
He told Leeds United TV: "He was our best player tonight if I'm honest, his work rate, his endeavour, he played two or three different positions to keep us in it, and to get us in it, but I thought they all worked hard and they all played well.
"I think he's got touch and awareness and he's got good technique, you know he's an underrated player, I think he's a good player."
Antenucci was involved all over the pitch, winning the ball back for his side and completed 81 per cent of his passes, bettering Billy Sharp in several areas.
