Having witnessed Mario Balotelli in both Premier League and Champions League competition, Liverpool supporters have come to a conclusion when assessing the player's talent - he is no Luis Suarez.
That is no insult, after all, Suarez is a complete forward who is a threat from long-range, is adept with the ball at his feet and can defeat an opponent, is capable of providing key passes whilst his finishing ability is proven inside and outside of the box.
Balotelli, Reds fans claim, is "more of a target-man".
Such a difference had already been noted by Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers, who believes that, whilst the Italian striker's work-rate has seemingly won over the Kop already, it is his physical presence and technical ability from within the 18-yard box that will attract the highest accolades.

Balotelli made his debut Liverpool appearance in the Champions League last night, Tuesday, against Bulgarian outfit Ludogorets Razgrad and, from seven shots dispatched, returned one goal whilst also proving a nuisance when it came to dueling for the ball both in the air and at ground level.
Such statistics further underline that Balotelli is best suited as a more traditional number 9.
Using social media, Liverpool fans reacted to the 24-year-old's performance on Twitter, with Liverpool FC Online even posting that there is one similarity to his Uruguayan predecessor - Balotelli's goal was born out of determination and will, characteristics he shares with Suarez.
Balotelli is no Suarez. But the experts and commentators want him to move like Suarez. They can't see come up with other reasons. #LFC— Karthik Nallamuthu (@highonsport) September 16, 2014
Balotelli is no Suarez. He's more suited as a target man. Hopefully the chemistry between players is better soon. #YNWA— Cyan Thrisvain (@yvanchristian) September 17, 2014
Out if sheer determination and will, just like Luis Suarez used to do. I hope Balotelli continues to put his head down and deliver. #LFC— Liverpool FC Online (@SS_LFC) September 17, 2014
Another poor team performance yesterday tempered with some good efforts. Balotelli looks like he's getting it & Lucas looked hungry. #YNWA— Paul Leonard Taylor (@Spionkopite) September 17, 2014
