Cardiff City fans call for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's sacking on twitter after Middlesbrough defeat

The former Manchester United striker is rumoured to be under pressure after a poor start to life in the Championship.

Cardiff City manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer seems to be under a lot of pressure at the moment after a disappointing start to the Championship campaign.

The former Manchester United striker took over at the Cardiff City stadium midway through last season after the sacking of Malky Mackay but failed to keep the side in the Premier League.

But their struggles appear to be continuing in the Championship, and their latest setback came with a home defeat to Middlesbrough last night, which followed on from their 4-2 defeat to Norwich City at home at the weekend, where his side managed to throw away a two goal lead.

Last night's loss to Boro leaves Cardiff in 17th place on eight points from their first seven games, leaving them three points above the relegation zone at this early stage of the season.

There has been speculation that Solskjaer's days could be numbered in South Wales with Vincent Tan reportedly willing to sack the Norwegian. It appears that some fans want change in some way.

Whilst it is unclear what the overriding opinion of Cardiff fans is of their manager, there are clearly some unhappy followers of the club out there.
