Derby will look to build on their late point against Nottingham Forest as they travel to Ewood Park to face Blackburn Rovers.
Rovers' start to the season has seen them take 10 points from five games, winning three and drawing one as Gary Bowyer continues to steady the ship in the post-Steve Kean, Henning Bern and Michael Appleton era, which was filled with utter chaos.
The biggest news or Rovers this summer was that striker Jordan Rhodes stays at the club despite interest from Premier League side Hull City, and the Scottish international partners Rudy Gestede in attack tonight as the duo look to continue their prolific partnership.
Meanwhile, Derby are on something of a high after Ryan Shotton grabbed a late equaliser against Nottingham Forest on Sunday, and Steve McClaren will be looking to build on that with three points tonight.
Defender Jake Buxton misses out after being sent off against Forest, and Zak Whitbread comes into the defence in his place. Meanwhile, Liverpool loanee Jordon Ibe remains on the bench despite a promising cameo against Forest, whilst Jamie Ward return to the start line-up in place of Johnny Russell.
