Manchester United star Adnan Januzaj is putting first team boss Louis van Gaal under plenty of pressure.
The Belgian cracked in a hat-trick for the United under-21 side against Sunderland, to push forward his claim for a regular starting position in the Manchester United first team.
Januzaj produced two very calm finishes before a piece of superb improvisation in the second-half to complete his hat-trick, which was the first in the under-21 side this season.
He’s made bold statements that he wants to play as the number ten in this United side and he’ll do his chances no harm at all with similar performances in the youth team.
The players he has to overcome in that position are Juan Mata and Wayne Rooney, if van Gaal decides to drop United’s captain into the top of the midfield.
Goals equal pressure and Januzaj is doing nothing wrong as he looks to force his way into the first team.
