The players tasked with getting Manchester United back into the Champions League and among the trophies have had their group photograph.
Manchester United have unveiled their squad photo for the 2014/2015 season.
Louis van Gaal’s side took their places for the official picture on Tuesday afternoon, and the club published the outcome shortly after.
Following a summer of incomings and outgoings, United’s squad looks considerably different from last season, not just when you consider the six new arrivals.
Radamel Falcao, Angel Di Maria, Ander Herrera, Daley Blind, Luke Shaw and Marcos Rojo were all present for the photograph, with those departed seemingly swiftly forgotten following the club’s impressive 4-0 victory over Queens Park Rangers on Sunday.
Gone are the likes of Shinji Kagawa, Nani, Danny Welbeck, Javier Hernandez and Tom Cleverley, while young players James Wilson, Andreas Pereira and Jesse Lingard were all included in the snap.
The only question now is: Can United continue the good form they showed at the weekend for the rest of the season, slowly getting better as their new arrivals and next generation bed in.
It will certainly be exciting, which is something that was not said much under the previous regime.
