What could have been for Fulham...
As Fulham sit rooted to the bottom of the Championship after six games without a win, two players in their squad last season are tearing it up in the Champions League.
Pajtim Kasami and Kostas Mitroglou featured for Olympiakos as the Greeks stunned Europe to record a thrilling 3-2 win over La Liga champions Atletico Madrid.
Mitroglou, who is only on loan at Olympiakos, even struck the winner, to confound anybody who saw him play in the Premier League or Championship.
The Greek striker simply never settled at Fulham, whether it be the managerial style of Felix Magath he clashed with or reasons more complex, he appears far happier back at his former club.
The decision to sell Kasami, who posted a photo of the pair on his Instagram page was arguably more damaging to the cause, as early last season he was an impressive part of the Fulham side, scoring a wonder volley against Crystal Palace.
