Leeds United's teenage goal hero Alex Mowatt gives negative injury news via Twitter

Alex Mowatt will miss Leeds United's game at Bournemouth.

Leeds United goalscorer against Birmingham Alex Mowatt has confirmed he will miss Tuesday night's clash against Bournemouth.

The 19-year-old took to Twitter late on Monday evening to reveal he had a toe injury which will prevent him from featuring at the Goldsands Stadium.

The injury is a case of bad timing for Mowatt personally, as he had just been recalled under caretaker manager Neil Redfearn, featuring in both his games in charge for 90 minutes in each.

Mowatt was the only starter against Birmingham City to register a shot on target, and his injury is likely to hand a chance to the only other player to test the goalkeeper, substitute Rodolph Austin.
