Wonderkid Adryan watched from the bench while Jason Pearce led from the back as Leeds beat Bournemouth 3-1.
Leeds United ran out 3-1 winners away at Bournemouth on Tuesday evening, and may just have inspired their hero-in-waiting to crack the first team.
Brazilian under-20 international Adryan was signed narrowly ahead of the transfer deadline, but has been just an unused substitute so far under Neil Redfearn.
The win at the Goldsands Stadium appears however to have inspired him to accelerate his progress, with the attacker pledging he 'can't wait' to get involved on the pitch.
Another important victory, can't wait for my debut ! http://t.co/v2S7DBo4f0— Adryan Tavares (@adryantavares) September 16, 2014
He was not the only Leeds United star to react via the social networking site to the victory, with club captain Jason Pearce weighing in, to thank the fans.
Great performance from the boys- thanks to the fans who were superb. MOT!!!— JDP (@jpearce05) September 16, 2014
Pearce impressed, making six successful clearances, four interceptions and one tackle, as he continued to build a rapport alongside new signing Giuseppe Bellusci.
